So everybody needs to learn their ABC's, especially when you're young and for us ABC's stand for agility balance, coordination and speed. So we're going to take our young athletes through agility drills, through balance drills, through coordination drills and speed drills. All to help make our athlete physically literate all right. In this ABC station, we are going to be doing balance.

So this is what we call battle rope balance. This is a battle rope that we have, it's about 30 feet in length. Place the rope on the ground in any pattern. Now we're going to have the athletes start at one end and walk across the rope to the other end. The goal is to get to the end without your feet, touching the grass. You might see athletes go sideways, you're going to see them trying to go backwards sometimes or straight forward, everything is Okay as long as we're working on balance.
